My Struggle With Insomnia

My experience with insomnia
was an ongoing problem in my life for
three years. There were nights I would lay in
bed for hours in frustration, wishing I could fall asleep,
but knowing I was helpless and at the mercy of my
illness.
To pass the time at night I
would usually read a book for a few hours or listen to
music, but after awhile it became mentally
draining. It was
like my mind was tired, but there was nothing I could do to
fall asleep.
It didn't take long before the
lack of sleep started to become unbearable. Facing each
new day was a constant struggle because I had no energy
to do any of the things I needed to do during the
day.
Later I decided to visit a doctor and he prescribed some
sleeping pills, but they didn't work either.

Taking sleeping
pills at night made me feel even worse during
the day.

Taking the sleeping pills made me feel like I had a
hangover during the day and resulted in memory
loss. Plus I was worried about the addictive side effects
associated with sleeping pills.
At this point in my life, I knew I had to do something. I
was beginning to become desperate. I was at the serious
point where I knew something needed to be done or I was going
to die. Panic started setting in that I couldn't
sleep, because I knew my health was slowly deteriorating.

It's a
well known fact the human body and
mind cannot survive without
sleep.

One day I stumbled
across a book called Insomnia Relief. It was a guide on how to
get rid of insomnia through natural methods. This interested
me because I've heard true stories of how people have used
natural ways to cure illnesses and other problems with
the body.
I personally knew a man
with a brain tumor that was told by doctors he had six
months to live. The man refused to accept the doctors diagnosis
and started drinking carrot juice and taking in large amounts
of garlic. He went to the doctor one month
later and after running some tests the doctor noticed the
tumor was completely gone! The nutrients in the carrot
juice and garlic caused the tumor to completely shrink and
eventually go away!
After that experience I've always been a firm
believer in their being a natural cure for almost any
illness or disease.

I knew
that natural methods without using
sleeping pills or other harmful drugs was
a much better solution.

After I started applying the techniques in the
book I was beginning to feel better and more relaxed at
night when it was time to sleep. I started applying each
natural method daily and ever since then my trouble with
falling asleep and staying asleep throughout the night has not
been a problem. Occassionally I will have a day where I will
wake up in the middle of the night, but that's of
course common with people that don't suffer from
insomnia.
My life literally was changed forever. It's wonderful
to be able to overcome serious problems with Insomnia and
finally get the precious sleep I needed. Waking up in the
morning was enjoyable because I felt refreshed and fully
energized to face life's challenges.
I'm writing this in hope that many of you that suffer from
insomnia will become inspired by my story, and realize there is
hope that your life can change for the better. Insomnia
doesn't have to ruin your life anymore like it once
did mine.
